GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The purpose of the Animal Control Officer position is the response and investigation of laws and ordinances pertaining to the keeping of animals within the jurisdiction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in daily functions of the shelter, enforces animal control laws, maintains records, processes adoptions and impounds, performs euthanasia as required, and responds to emergency calls.
